Suspension Magnetic Separator – SMP / SME
SMP suspension permanent magnet series is powered by ceramic strontium ferrite magnets and is used to remove tramp iron metals from non-magnetic materials. This helps protect various machinery, such as Hydro-Cones, Crushers, Press Mills, and other production line equipment, from damage and wear caused by tramp iron parts.
The SMP magnets is typically suspended over material conveyors, vibration feeders, or chute ducts. It can be suspended by four sets of adjustable wire ropes, positioned 50-70 mm above the top surface of the material.
The efficiency of separation is influenced by the type, shape, and size of the tramp iron. Small parts, cubic figures, and spherical shapes are more challenging to separate. As the burden depth, passage rate, size, and humidity of the material increase, the magnetic field must be correspondingly reinforced. The SMP magnets are extensively used in recycling, cement, sand, gypsum, lime, brick, ceramic tile, glass, food processing, wood and mineral industries.
