Pulley Magnetic Separator – PLY

PLY magnetic pulley is designed to provide a uniform magnetic field for the removal of tramp iron from materials carried on belt conveyors. This continuous self-cleaning magnetic separator effectively protects processing lines from various sizes of ferrous contamination.

As materials pass over the PLY magnetic head pulley, tramp iron is attracted and held by the magnetic field then carried along with the belt until it exits the magnetic field and is discharged into a chute or bin. Clean, non-magnetic materials are then released normally over the pulley.
