Magnetic Separators – PMS
PMS Plate magnetic separators are widely used for separation of tramp iron contamination from the non-magnetic materials. PMS protects valuable and worthy equipment in production and processing line against any damage and depreciation interring by Ironic particles even uses in order to improve and purify the quality of the output material.
The Magnetic Plate is usually installed above the flow chute (belt). For reaching to better separation performance, Plate can be installed below the flow chute, where the product flows over the magnet face. In the high volume chute applications, magnet face can be equipped to the specific pole shoes to increase holding force of the magnet and prevent from captured metal wash-off. Standard PMS magnetic plates are Bi-polar and can be supplied by Ceramic or Neodymium (Rare Earth) elements. For fine particle and weak magnetic iron contamination, Rare Earth magnetic plates should be used. PMS magnetic plates are mostly used in gypsum, lime, brick, tile, glass, food, wood, paper and mineral industries.
