Circular Lifting Magnet – MCA

MCA lifting magnet series, developed from years of experience, has been optimized using computerized calculation methods to achieve strong magnetic fields, robust body structures, and high safety performance. The MCA lifting magnets features deep magnetic field created by a specially designed magnet circuit, significantly increasing operational capacity relative to magnet weight and maximizing crane load handling. MCA lifting magnets are available in different deep field configurations to accommodate a wide range of applications for light, standard and heavy Scrap or Pig Iron Handling.

  • Exciter Coil Options:
    Available in Aluminium/Copper strip conductor insulated by a fiberglass cover, Aluminium/Copper foil conductor with mica insulation paper, or anodized Aluminium foil conductor for special cases
  • Magnet Coil Fixation:
    The coil is encapsulated with a compound resin that offers excellent heat conductivity
  • Magnet Core:
    The core circuit is constructed from low-carbon steel with high magnetic permeability
  • Enhanced Longevity:
    The rectifier panel is equipped with a PLC to monitor internal temperature and duty factor of the magnets to protect magnets against overheating and protect the control panel against any short-circuit accidents in the output cable circuit
  • Accessory Equipment:
    Includes DC rectifier panel, cable reel, suspension chains, and power supply socket
  • Specialized Applications:
    MAG Magnetics also provides specialized lifting magnets for skull cracker ball handling, hot material handling, direct furnace charging, and waterproof types for underwater services
